Way Up High ...

Lola's been showing a renewed interest in the swing (or the "Wheeeeeeeeee," for those into Toddlerese), which is good to see. Unfortunately, she wants Daddy to sit next to her in the other swing, but doesn't like the fact that Daddy then can't push her.



It's a conundrum.

With Mommy out of town, it was a Daddy-Ube weekend, which featured a lot of racing around the house.

I don't know who got worn out first.

Recently, some friends of ours had a baseball-themed birthday party for their son, Jay, who was turning one. Lola wasted little time tracking down a blue lollipop ... and, well, you know the rest of the story.

Nobody Puts Ube in the Corner

... well, except for Ube.

She's grown very fond of not only the kitchen donated by her cousin Jakey, but the corner near it.

You're liable to find her having a picnic with Pooh of an early Saturday morning ...



Or perhaps arranging puzzle numbers in a slightly creepy fashion over there as well ...



We're just glad she hasn't associated this particular corner with "timeout" yet.
