Lola's Clothes

Lola is very blessed. One of my best friends has 2 daughters and have given us all of the clothes that they have outgrown. And my mom is a very talented seamstress and is very generous. And Scott's mom is also very generous. And her Aunt is very generous. And she has a mom who likes to shop. This all leads to a little girl with a lot of clothes :) Our washing machine has been running all weekend to get ready for spring.

Here Comes Peter Cottontail....

...hopping down the bunny trail.

Lola had her first experience with the Easter Bunny this weekend. She did not seem that impressed. Just wait until she sees what he brings her this Easter - then she will understand the magic of the Easter Bunny.

Shelly Lake

Scott and I took Lola on her first "hike" to Shelly Lake. We are lucky enough to live within walking distance of the lake so we put Lola in the Baby Bourne and enjoyed the first warm day of 2010. Lola did great and seemed to enjoy the fresh air.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

We like holiday PJs in our house. And if you get sick, you may end up celebrating multiple holidays at one time.

On A Roll

Lola has started to roll and our lives will never be the same. Lola is very proud of herself and does her new trick as often as she can. She rolled over so much as school yesterday she got a rug burn on her chin. She can only roll from her back to her tummy and then she gets stuck. So last night, Lola got stuck several times and we had to rescue her in her crib.

Here is a short video of her new skills. Sorry for her attire...she just had an uncontained BM and her outfit was ruined as was mine.

Ube Dat?

There was lots of excitement for this years Super Bowl. It was the first for Lola and the first for the New Orleans Saints. We had to celebrate and dress up for the occasion. The Saints won and I have to think that Lola had a little something to do with it.

Picture Perfect

Today we took Lola to get her 3 month portraits taken at P*rtrait Inn*vations. Her pictures came out wonderful but PI was an interesting experience. There was a man of the cloth there (not sure what to call him - Minister, Reverend, Priest, etc.) in full robes getting his picture taken. The person with him was overheard telling him not to look like he just got out of prison.

Note to the Grandparnets, Aunts, Uncles: We ordered a TON of pictures. Let us know which ones you want. Please do not print the ones in this post.
