Ube thought it would be fun to walk a mile in Mommy's golden shoes the other day. She was much better at it than I thought she'd be.

Winnie Looks Sort of Underwhelming Now ...

Earlier this summer, Lola fell in love with a giant teddy bear during a trip to the Children's Museum of Wilmington with Grandma and Grandpa. Luckily, we were able to distract her long enough that Daddy didn't have to steal an enormous bear from a children's museum.

Lola learns that joy is fleeting.

The Trooper Puts on a Brave Face

She gained two more teeth.
She was sick for a few days.
She got bit within hours of being back at school after being sick.
A couple of hours after that, she weathered earthquake shocks.

And how did she handle all that?

With yogurt in one hand.
With milk in the other.
With Pooh by her side.
And with a smile on her face.

Because that's how she rolls.

Naptime With Brobee

Grandma found Lola a "Brobee" blanket while we were down at the beach. Now, she's susceptible to randomly throwing the blanky down on the floor and flopping down on top of it for brief periods of time.

I have to say it is a pretty comfortable blanket. Or at least it looks like it.

Pooh as a Pillow

Early-morning Brobee time requires a chair, a blanket and a Pooh. Not necessarily in that order.
