The last time Lola got a haircut, it quickly devolved into a battle royale. This time, she sat in the chair all by herself, kept the tears to a minimum and acted all around like a pretty big girl.

Celebrating One Great Christmas Tree

Lola loves the tree this year, including counting, yanking and punching the ornaments. She gets a helping hand from Llama Llama Red Pajama sometimes.

Choo-Chooin' at Pullen Park!

This past weekend, we headed out to the renovated Pullen Park to play on the swings, ride the almost ride the carousel, eat popcorn, meet Santa and hop the train. It was a bit chilly, but we all had an awesome time!

Rockin' the "Allie"-Tails

Getting Lola to sport pigtails usually involves some pretty intense wrestling and somebody (sometimes even Lola) ending up in tears.

Lately, we've been calling them "Allie"-tails in order to make the prospect a bit more attractive, as Ube's best buddy at school, Allie, wears pigtails all the time.

We've had some marginal success of late.
